Goodman Derrick LLP announce new Head of Family
Goodman Derrick LLP are delighted to announce the arrival of Ursula Danagher (former Head of Private Client/Family at South East regional firm ASB Law) as a Partner and Head of Family.
Ursula will be working initially with Tim Langton (Head of Litigation) to develop a high net worth financial and internationally based childrens family practice, at Goodman Derrick LLP. She will be joined in September, by two other soon to be former partners of ASB Law, Lindsey Alexander (Family) and Clare Jeffries (Private Client) who will also join Goodman Derrick LLP as partners.
Prior to joining Goodman Derrick LLP, Ursula has built up extensive experience in dealing with complex high value financial issues arising from the breakdown of relationships, whilst adopting a commercial and practical approach to dispute resolution generally. This includes advising on asset preservation and protection prior to and in anticipation of marriage or parties deciding to live together.
Managing Partner Richard Gerstein says "When the opportunity arose to recruit Ursula and a team of this quality, capable of not only offering first class legal advice in family law, but offering the opportunity to enhance our already firmly established Private Client team; we jumped at the chance. It has long been my belief that there is a huge demand for first rate legal services for busy individuals with often fairly complex legal needs, who have long since outgrown their old family solicitor, whose advice they might have sought in relation to their private legal affairs. We are naturally excited by the prospect of what this team can offer in terms of enhanced legal services and support for both our commercial clients and the new clients we are confident this team will acquire in its own right"
