Our media team have recently assisted clients ITV in securing Ofcom consent for their forthcoming coverage of the Football World Cup. The World Cup Tournament is a listed event and accordingly under the Ofcom Listed Events Code, no terrestrial broadcaster is entitled to show exclusive coverage without Ofcom's consent.
Goodman Derrick LLP, represented by Media Partner Paul Herbert, advised ITV on the terms of its application to Ofcom for Listed Events Consent which was granted in early May."

Media Tour - Paul Herbert, Head of Media, is on a tour of ITV's regional newsrooms giving a seminar on "Compliance and Court Reporting".
The "tour" has already taken him to Macnhester and Plymouth and he will be making further appearances in Leeds and Belfast

Goodman Media Lecture 2005 - Michael Grade delivered the annual Goodman Lecture on Wednesday 11 th May and the theme of his speech was 'the future of impartiality'.
