• Civil Partnerships - The Family and Private Client departments of Goodman Derrick LLP joined forces this month to host a key-note seminar on the Civil Partnership Act, which comes into force in December 2005.  The seminar covered the rights and entitlements which will apply to same-sex couples who enter into civl partnerships. The seminar also addressed the tax and inheritance consequences which also flow from the legal recognition of such relationships.
