David has some 25 years experience of transactional corporate work with particular emphasis on mergers and acquisitions. During this time, David has acted on a number of reasonably high profile transactions, ranging from establishing new television companies in the early 1990’s and securing finance following the award of television franchises, to advising quoted companies in connection with their acquisition and disposal strategies, to advising privately owned/family companies regarding exit strategies and sales. Most recently, David has advised on a number of company and business acquisitions and has been involved in private equity deals, MBO’s and MBI’s.
He also advises on a wide range of commercial projects and agreements including long term supply agreements, joint ventures, shareholders agreements and other major commercial contracts, frequently crossing a number of jurisdictions. Most recently, David has advised on European outsourcing arrangements; the establishment of international centres and institutions with European and UK government funding; long term development and supply agreements for the motor industry.
David has given many in house seminars and lectures to clients on various aspects of contract law as well as on merger and acquisition transactions and documentation. He also sits on the board of directors of certain client companies, advising on corporate governance and risk management.
